The Babbel Integration online German course is designed to take you from beginner to confident speaker in just a few months. Whether you’re working toward residency, starting a new job, or just want to feel more at home in Germany, this course gives you the structure, support, and flexibility to succeed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the course take?

One module (half a level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), e.g., A1.1) takes 6 weeks to complete. To get from A1 to B1 you need 6 modules.

How much time do I need to invest each week?

Each week includes 10 hours of group online classes and 2-3 hours of self-study with the app. The schedule for the online classes is fixed (mornings or evenings), but you decide yourself when you complete the self-study parts.

Is this course recognised for official language requirements?

The Babbel Integration online German course will teach you German from A1 to B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and supports your integration in Germany with specific integration-relevant content and a community program. The curriculum is modelled on the BAMF integration courses and will prepare you for official B1 exams.

What do I need to participate?

A stable internet connection, a computer or smartphone, and a willingness to learn! We recommend using headphones for the best experience.
